Curriculum Vitae

  • National Institute of Standards and Technolgoy, Contractor, 2000-Present
  • National Institute of Standards and Technology, Physicist, 1967-2000
  • University of Maryland, Ph.D. Physics, 1977
Thesis Title: Stark Broadening of Neutral Helium Lines in a Plasma

Research Interests

Dr. Kelleher retired from NIST in 2000. He is currently contracted with NIST to critically evaluate and compile atomic transition probabilities and to maintain the Atomic Spectroscopic Database engine. He spent his early career in plasma spectroscopy. Subsequently he worked on electric field effects on autoionization resonances, multi-photon ionization, and experimental tests of the symmetrization postulate.
