Gaithersburg Washingtonian Center.
Conference registration does not include your hotel reservation. A block of
rooms has been reserved at the Marriott Gaithersburg Washingtonian Center,
(301) 590-0044 or 1-800-228-9290. These rooms will be offered to all
participants at the government rate, currently $180 per night, plus 12% tax
(rate may change if prevailing per diem rates in 2007 are different), if
you mention that you are attending the "NIST/APIP Conference."
The hotel is situated on a lake at the
Washingtonian Center which is
comprised of a variety of restaurants, shops, and an
entertainment complex. Guests of the
Hotel are provided with complimentary transportation to the nearest subway
station (Red Line, Shady Grove) from 6 AM-8 PM weekdays and
8 AM-8 PM weekends.
To register for a room, please call the hotel directly, no later than
February 26, 2007. After February 26, the rooms will be released for
general occupancy at the prevailing rates of the hotel.

Due to increased security, no on-site registrations will be accepted
and all attendees must be pre-registered.
Photo identification must be presented at the Visitor Center to be admitted
to the conference. Attendees must wear their conference badge at all times
while on the campus.
