Neon - Spectral Data for the Chandra X-ray Observatory
- Ne V (Neon Z = 10)
- C I isoelectronic sequence
- Ground state 1s22s22p2
3P0
- Ionization energy 1 018 000 cm-1
(126.22 eV)
Data are tabulated for 106 transitions in the range of 109 Å to
169 Å. Transition probabilities for the
2s22p2-2s22p3s and
2s22p2-2s22p3d
arrays are mean values from MCHF [1] and CIV3 [2] calculations. Remaining
results are from the Opacity Project (OP) [3]. The multiplet values from
OP have been decomposed into fine-structure components assuming
LS-coupling, as indicated by the notation LS in the reference
column.

Data are tabulated for 238 transitions in the range 86 Å to
171 Å. Transition probabilities for the
2s22p-2s23s,
2s22p-2s23d, and
2s2p2-2s2p3s arrays are taken
from MCHF calculations [1]. Remaining results are taken from the Opacity

- Be I isoelectronic sequence
- Ground state 1s22s2
1S0
- Ionization energy 1 671 792 cm-1
(207.28 eV)
Data are tabulated for 132 transitions in the range 65 Å to
160 Å. Transition probabilities for the
2s2-2s3p,
2s2p-2s3s,
2s2p-2s3d, and
2p2-2s3p arrays are taken from MCHF
calculations [1]. Values for the
2s2-2p3s,
2s2-2p3d,
2s2p-2p3p,
2p2-2p3s, and
2p2-2p3d arrays were obtained with many-body
perturbation theory (MBPT) [2] calculations. Remaining results are taken from
the Opacity Project(OP) [3]. The multiplet values from OP have been
decomposed into fine-structure components assuming LS-coupling, as
indicated by the notation LS in the reference column.

Most of transition probabilities are taken from the Opacity Project(OP) [1].
Transition probabilities for the
2p 2P°3/2-3s 2S1/2 and
